FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an adult family home?

An adult family home is a licensed residential home that cares for a small number of residents — up to six — in a real house. It offers a more personal, home-like alternative to large assisted living facilities and nursing homes.

How many residents do you care for?

We care for a maximum of six residents at a time, which allows our caregivers to give each person real, one-on-one attention.

Do you accept Medicaid?

Please contact us to confirm current Medicaid / DSHS acceptance and discuss payment options. See our Payment & Insurance page for details.

What is included in the monthly rate?

Your loved one’s room, all meals and snacks, 24/7 personal care, medication management, housekeeping, laundry, and daily activities are included. We are glad to walk through the specifics with you.

Can my parent bring their own furniture?

Yes. We encourage residents to bring furniture, photos, and keepsakes to make their room feel like home.

Are your caregivers trained and background-checked?

Yes. Our caregivers are trained to Washington State requirements and pass background checks, so you can have complete peace of mind.

How do I schedule a tour?

Just call (206) 657-6121 or use our contact options. We offer tours by appointment seven days a week and would love to show you our home.
